Beta Testing

Over the last few years I have been taking part in a number of public, and a few private beta programs for software testing. This has included both desktop and mobile applications. While some people view such programs as a waste of time because a lot features don’t work, the apps crash all the time and you get constant updates through the app store; Facebook and Facebook Messenger, I’m looking at you. Other people like me, enjoy being able to use new apps and additional features before they are released to the general public. Below is a list of the beta apps and software I’ve had fun testing in the past.

Current:
Android:
DashClock Widget,
Facebook,
Facebook Messenger,
Instagram,
Nova Launcher,
QKSMS,
Twitter,

iOS:
iOS Public Beta,

OS X:
OS X Public Beta,

Windows:
DisplayFusion Start Menu,
Steam client for Windows,

Past:
Android:
CyanogenMod GalleryNext,
Triggertrap Mobile 2.0 for Android,

iOS:
Triggertrap Timelapse Pro,

OS X:
Steam Client, (Steam still have beta versions, but I don’t game on my Mac, so it seems pointless testing it)
